A Message from the President...

Greetings GNABSE members and friends,

As we reflect back on this academic school year, you should proudly hold your head up. You have made positive changes in the lives of young people. I know you live busy lives, but you still take time out of your life to help others, you should truly be commended for that! From donating school supplies, to hosting community forums, and participating in toy drives for under privileged children you have accomplished a great deal. I look forward to working with you to do much more, including increasing opportunities to college attainment for graduating seniors during our upcoming Scholarship Gala in June.

This year, GNABSE has the honor of hosting the 40th Annual National Conference at the Gaylord Opryland Hotel in November. This is a weeklong event that has many working parts. With that, we will need a great number of volunteers to help with the planning, logistics, college tours, registration, and workshops. This is a vast undertaking and your volunteerism and leadership is being called upon. Further communication about the national conference will follow.

We host our general membership meetings at the Hartman Park Community Center. Please keep in mind that the general membership meets every second Thursday of the month at 5 p.m., so mark your calendars. Remember, our power is in our numbers…so bring a new member with you.
